Atlanta, GA. June 30, 2021- Tegra, a leading apparel manufacturing and supply chain provider, announced the appointment of Duane A. Portwood to Chief Financial Officer. He will oversee all aspects of accounting and reporting, including internal and external reporting, financial controls, and compliance.
Mr. Portwood joins Tegra Global from specialty generic pharmaceuticals manufacturer Akorn, Inc. where he served for six years as Chief Financial officer. He will work with Tegra leadership to ensure that plans for growth, continuous improvement, and sustainability are realized through strong financial planning and partnership.

Prior to his term at Akorn, Inc., Mr. Portwood served as Vice President and Corporate Controller at The Home Depot and Controller for the Wrigley Company. He graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
